This place is definitely cutting corners. The two burritos we got we're not even mediocre they were terrible! The surf and turf burrito was extremely plain and the meat was rubbery. The other burrito we had was poorly wrapped and spilled out everywhere the only thing decent was the soda which is laughable. Definitely my last time coming here
I just purchased an order of rolled tacos from here and the food is of very poor quality, it smells like paint and oil used is too old and overused.
They cut corners here and are not staying true to a real Cotixas! I asked for a Carnitas burrito and got fried peces of meat with zero seasonings. Greasy and no flavor! The salsa is a watery mess of god knows what and it’s not spicy nor bland. Move on and do not keep this place in business.
Their Cali Burrito is the bomb! Full of meat, fries, and cheese. I always stop by here for a bite whenever I'm down in SD.
Good service, but the food is nasty tasted soo bad
Food was fresh but expected better with paying almost 8 bucks for 3 rolled tacos !
It may appear like a Cotixan, it may smell like a Cotixan, it may even cost like a Cotixan. But beware, everybody, because one of these isn't like the others! I was the only customer near 7 AM, when getting my Friday breakfast: a chorizo burrito. I'd ordered that before from other Cotixan locations. This time, I inquired if I could get a half burrito (because I would exercice right after and didn't want that much greasy/spicy food). With a slighted look, the employee denied, then kept up a curt, annoyed attitude for the rest of our interaction. Plus, the kitchen was noisy, with an equally loud radio(?) playing in the background—which meant I frequently needed to repeat myself. The (full) burrito I ended up receiving was blander than previous times. It might have been somewhat undercooked, as well. And their watery yellow hot sauce didn't match the usual creamy, velvety version. I wondered if this was a "Cotixan" in name only.
