Their rolled tacos are delicious must get and their California burrito is delicious

Update as of July 2022 when we visited: Same sentiment as my original review - still excellent food and still can't find anything as good in AZ, but still looking! Original Review: From Phoenix AZ, but visit this place every time we are in San Diego at least twice during our 4 day visit. Nachos Supreme with melted cheese (nacho cheese sauce) are amazing. Best chips I've ever had. Diet coke fountain drinks are always good tasting. Still can't find anything like it in Phoenix

Great breakfast burrito

This place is my taco shop in Clairemont! They have great rolled tacos (get beef with guacamole). I also love the Lunch Burrito, and California Burrito. My boyfriend loves the Cotixan Fries (nacho's with fries instead of chips), order them with enchilada sauce = delicious! And always ask for red and green salsas with every order. I eat here almost once a week and have never had a bad experience. If you are looking for good quick mexican food, this is your place!

I come to Cotixan every time I visit San Diego; however this time I was very disappointed with the carne asada torta I ordered. Meat was bland, hard and cut in big chunks. Other food ordered by my party was fine.

Authentic Mexican food for sure. Service is good and friendly. The seafood soup is really good.
