Excelent Food with afordable price wonderfool service

We came here on a whim because Snooze had a 1.5 hour wait. Cote D’Azur did NOT disappoint; I can’t believe we hadn’t come here sooner! I had the California Benedict, lentil soup, and a lavender latte, all of which were excellent. We were told that they have a renovation coming up that will feature a new bar area. Can’t wait to come back!

Worthy of your time and money. We were out to get brunch but everywhere was slammed. It was the weekend and rainy. Found this spot on the Googles. The vibe was calm and friendly. The food was tasty. The servers weren’t in a rush. I wasn’t hungry thankfully. It was relaxed. We talked and hung out. The server said they were getting a remodel in May. I will come back!

Quiet location with good food and service. It is also pretty inexpensive, as resturants go.

We were so excited to come back since we found this place a couple of months ago. The inside was extremely warm for a 70* day in San Diego so we opted to sit outside. I tried ordering a specialty drink and the server asked me 4x because her computer didn’t list it. She had to type it in- no biggie. Ordered our food and drinks and waited. Got our food but no drinks. She said she was doing everything and had to go back and make the drinks. She brought me back warm milk with whipped cream. I had to walk it back inside and she said the owner showed her to do the milk but didn’t say anything about adding espresso to a latte. The server was very sweet but she obviously needed much more training. As a business owner you need to make sure your employees are listening to the customer. The table next to us asked for water 2x and never got it. The french toast was cold and tasted like it was made and remade. Was cold. The tables were never bussed. We had cleared one and it was never cleared. I’m so bummed because we always are looking for good breakfast places but it will take amnesia on our part to be able to come back. The window displayed transfer of ownership and if the owners operate like this—good luck. She - I assume is the owner or manager - saw me standing there with my cup of warm milk and ignored me. Go to Peet’s instead.
