amazing service, workers, and most of all, food!
PLEASE teach your servers what salsa fresca is! I asked for salsa fresca on my tacos, but I was given salsa verde instead. This happened twice! Asked for salsa fresca but got salsa verde. I know that it's more commonly referred to as pico de gallo here, but if you work at a Mexican food restaurant, you should know the names of your salsas. I hate salsa verde. This almost ruined my meal. I don't usually complain this way. However, I feel a need to about this. In case another customer asks for salsa fresca and is served something else. All I ask is to educate the staff on the food they are serving. And if you want salsa fresca, ask for pico de gallo! Other than that, food was good. Oh, and if you want a real Horchata, you're out of luck. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options are available.
I’m new to the Colorado area, I’ve never heard of this place. It’s similar to Chipotle and Qdoba , I wanted something different I was next door picking up food for my son, came here so I didn’t have to drive anywhere else. I got a chicken and steak Baja bowl. The place was nice and clean, the staff was very friendly, and I got fast service. The price wasn’t bad. However , the food wasn’t the greatest I personally wouldn’t get anything from here again. But I’m one who likes to try new things, and I didn’t have to cook. So that’s a plus, I got a sample of the pork and I wasn’t a fan. I was told that was the popular choice.
They’ve gotten much better lately! I love Costa Vida, but this place used to have rough customer service. Whatever they’ve been doing has been working. I used to give them a 2-star rating, but I think they deserve a 4 star now with their improvement.
We stopped by here after a trip to the airport. We had not eaten at one in years. The staff greeted us and they were very friendly. The food was run-of-the-mill, albeit the flavors in the rice and guacamole saved the day - they were delicious. The chicken in my enchilada was over salted. I might eat here again, but I imagine the all the proteins are mediocre. The guacamole definitely saved the meal. I almost asked for a container to go. For similar type of restaurants, I imagine this was on part with the others.
I ordered an order on December 23, the meat was very good but the tortillas were broken very badly.
The whole family always enjoys a trip to Costa Vida as a special meal, because we don't have one within six hours of where we live. Everyone loves the sweet pork, and the little cinnamon sugar coated tortillas in the kids meals are a real hit. Already looking forward to our next meal there.
