Sacramento mainstay and local neighborhood market...this place is always packed with people buying really nice everyday and gourmet food...their deli and butcher shop is likewise busy and if you really like good sandwiches, get yourself one from their deli. If you can't find that certain brand or style of something - try Corti Brothers. If they don't have it, they'll have something else you'll love. Stores like this really did pave the way for places like Trader Joe's etc...but, going to the real deal and supporting a local business is very satisfying.

Go to the deli and get yourself a Big Sandwich worth every penny. Order it online and do a pickup if you want it fast. Sandwiches have always been enormous. Their apple supplier is from Apple Hill, too!

Best meat, ravioli/pasta, and beer selection in town

THEIR FOOD IS REALLY THE BEST IN SACRAMENTO. I DON'T EAT OUT MUCH BUT WHEN I DO IT'S GOING TO BE CORTI BRO'S. I HAD A TUNA SANDWHICH WITH SPROUTS ON MULTIGRAIN. THEY REMIND ME OF WHEN I GREW UP IN THE BRONX, NEW YORK WHEN WE WOULD GET OUR DELI SANDWHICHES AND OTHER MEATS SLICED RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU AND THE FOOD WAS MADE FRESH DAILY. AH, THE GOOD OLE DAYS ARE STILL HERE. TO ANY VISITOR TO SACRAMENTO, CA, I WOULD SAY FOR CERTAIN IF YOU WANT A FRESH SANDWHICH OR DELI FOOD PERIOD, HEAD TO CORTI BRO'S FOR REAL.

Granddad of high end Sacramento food. Top shelf wine beer and liquor. Cured meats and rare cheeses. Butcher. Imported goods. Top 3 Sac deli sandwich, the “Special”. Oh and the wine guy is an actual savant just go ask him anything. If you live here you shoulda already known all this.
