Corner Cafe - Liberty

I ordered fried chicken, hashbrowns and a side salad. My lettuce was wilted. My hashbrowns were cooked perfectly but it was a very small serving. The chicken was good, just not much seasoning. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak, corn nuggets and onion rings. The onion rings were good, they weren't slimy onions but were nice and crunchy and you could easily bite them without the whole onion sliding out. The corn nuggets were also good. The chicken fried steak and gravy were also lacking seasoning. The meat was tough and mushy at the same time. We ordered the banana split pie and the strawberry pie. They were both delicious. Service was good, the restaurant was not very busy. I love their breakfast and have only been for dinner 2 times and both of which I've been disappointed. I guess I will only eat their breakfast and pie going forward.

Great home style cooked food!

Came on 4/13, hostess was very rude and unwelcoming. She got upset that we wanted to switch to a booth. Needs training on how to be hospitable if she wants to work in the food industry. Both the food and server were great though!

The waitress was awsome. The chips were delicious
