We looked up "French onion soup" on maps and this place came up. We drove here after Church on Sunday, only to discover they have a very restricted brunch menu. The Brunch menu consisted of standard diner fare (ie. waffles, French toast , egg plates). Even at noon, the lunch menu wasn't available. The restaurant looked nice, but the staff was unable to accommodate the menu as it was presented so we left. ♂️
This was our first time here. I went with my family and we had a horrible time. We all were sat down timely, but everything else took a ridiculous amount of time. We waited an hour for our food, which came out half cold. Our server was inattentive and seemed to be preoccupied with conversation with regulars than just give us even bare minimum attention. Even when we were fed up and just wanted to leave, she took forever to bring us the bill, then when she finally got our payment she just disappeared. Will never be back.
A restaurant closed to my hotel, and liked it when we entered, had an entree of Salmon, which is great. Enjoyed the atmosphere as well. Strongly recommend
Great experience!! They do brunch now. The spicy bloody mary was delicious and I enjoyed my breakfast platter
Copper and Vine is about to celebrate one year in Irving and everything about the place is tremendous, from the proprietor, Craig Vaught, to the servers, to the food. They just started serving Sunday Brunch. You can go back time after time and never run out great things to eat. Whether, it's lunch, dinner, or Sunday Brunch, a celebration or a work meeting, Craig and his staff will make it a great experience that will make you want to come back time and again
Copper and Vine is an absolute gem! The low down: service is great, great wine selection and the food is absolutely delicious! Oh and you can pick your pasta and it's fresh!!! We made a reservation for Valentine's Day and glad we did! The dining room was absolutely full - not packed or overcrowded, mind you. We've only been once before for my birthday and ended up being the only ones there. The quality of everything was just the same on Valentine's Day as our first visit on an August weekday. The food was delicious! We split the Shrimp Skewers and a Kale salad (yum goat cheese!), then I ordered Angel Hair Primavera with Shrimp and my wife ordered the Tagliatelle Creamy Pesto with Salmon (which was AMAZING). For dessert we ordered the Fresh Poached Pear which was just as fun to eat as it was beautiful. Definitely a great lighter faire option. This is a win for date night or any special occasion. You can guarantee that we will be back!
