…if you are looking for great barbecue instead of a campsite experience or trendy t-shirt, then come here. This joint has solid barbecue and the best location in Austin. It is not the best barbecue in Texas, but one of the best in Austin and it‘s solid barbecue. I do not understand the long lines and campouts at the other barbecue joints, I think the wait is the intrugue. It certainly is not the food. Coopers is better than any of those other Austin barbecue joints you heard about on TV. So, if you are looking for great barbecue instead of a campsite experience or trendy t-shirt, then come here. They do have t-shirts though!

Food was good.But at $40 a pound, I think thats pretty high.Even in todays Market......

Overrated and grossly overpriced tourist trap. I was charged $15 for a small portion of pork ribs! The big piece was ok, the small piece was dry, tough and barely edible. Had to throw away most of it. Unfortunately, the ribs were also oversalted. Unfortunately a complete letdown! There are a lot of really good BBQ's in Austin so don't go to this one! It's sad how people get ripped off here.
