Cook's Fish & Chip Shop

Worst fish and chips i have ever had. Said it was freshly cooked to order, the cod bites were and looked nice, teenager said it was nice as did youngest boy who also had the only nice chips but was a fresh batch. Chicken nuggets ok too. The two cods were reheated, well over cooked, dry and fish inside luke warm and small, four portions of chips were overcooked and reheated. Expensive too £54 it cost and most of it went in the bin. Obviously can do it well but do not cook fresh to order as they said on most items. Will.not use again.

Ordered a large chips for delivery. Portion size was tiny, equivalent to a cone of chips at home, and the chips were nothing like chippy chips, more like a dodgy cafe chip - stale, flavourless, and a complete waste of money! No wonder they’ve got such poor reviews having now looked through…

Very disappointed by the food served here. Burnt pies cold mushy peas and hair in the chips. Ruined the last day of our holiday, will not use again. £24 not well spent.

For 1 regular portion of chips - I had to wait 25 minutes. They were serving and packing up orders for people who had pre ordered and only focused on their food.

Worst food I have never eaten. Went straight in the bin. To make things worse if I went out of the park and turned right, Doggers fish and chips is 50 yards on the left. Triple the portion size, 2/3 of the price and a really really tasty.

I have to say that this time the cod and chips from here were truly awful going back almost 4 years ago this place was excellent, now I would advise people not to waste your money. Overpriced. Chips were not freshly cooked but, looked like they were cooked and then reheated. Fish was very greasy and sadly, later on that night both my husband and I were ill. Both got the runs. You may be lucky and get freshly cooked food but, personally I would give this place a wide berth. Never again.

Ordered 3 meals to our caravan and they arrived piping hot and we all enjoyed them. Great idea using the haven serve app.

Good portion size nice and fresh had it delivered to our caravan would highly recommend. Kid-friendliness: They do kiddies and adult meals
