Not the best Cookout location as the food tastes better and staff is nicer at other locations but the staff seem to be rushed at night as the lines are really long at the drive through so I'm guessing that affects quality all around . They messed up our order on a few of the items in a large order , we know next time to check the order before we leave but will Def go back .
We were the only customers, just before 5 pm. The kitchen was begging for a Health Dept inspection. The Dining area wasn't much better. Floor was sticky. It needed swept and mopped. No ice in the Coke machines. Tables were nasty. A couple in the parking lot was smoking Skunk Weed. This place has really hit the gutter.
A customer literally got called a “liar” by staff over sauce. I’ve worked in a lot of restaurants and have never seen anyone SCREAM across the restaurant that she “knew the customer was lying” about not having sauce in a bag. I guess she put the sauce in SOMEBODY’S bag, but not theirs. She was even shown the bag with no sauce in it and continued to argue and shut the window in the customers face. Absolutely wild, outrageous, and unacceptable behavior. Never going back.
I ordered a BLT tray with onion rings and a bacon ranch wrap. The BLT was meh, they forgot my onion rings and gave me corn dogs which weren't very warm and the wrap was decent. Won't be back for a bit
The inside was very dark though it was closed at first. Went to order food and the girl that took our order was texting on her phone while we were giving her our order. Got the western burger with fries and coleslaw with a shake. My husband got the spicy pickle cheese burger with Cajun fries and cheese curds and a soda. The burgers were great very yummy and so was the shake. The fries were unfortunately cold and soggy coleslaw was ok. I would go back just for the burgers and shakes.
Food okay but the girl at the window needs serious customer service training. My mom asked her if there was sauce for nuggets in bag, she replied with “you didn’t ask for any.” Then when she handed it to her she had nothing to say and we also had to ask for napkins which seemed to irritate her as well. As a hiring manager, I recommend further training.
