Phenomenal restaurant, excellent service and very competitive pricing vs other veneco peers in the area. Empanadas and papelón warao were my favourites, great vibe, felt like being back in our Esequibo at sunrise. Approved .
Great value for money. Food was fresh and hot. Tres Leche cake to take away was delicious.
The food was ok, not the best Venezuelan food I’ve tried but it was acceptable. The restaurant decoration was nice but it seems like the smoke extractors don’t really work as I left the place smelling like smoke and oil, even though I just stayed for half an hour. The worst part of the experience was the waitress (Spanish girl with glasses) definitely the worst server I’ve ever had. She didn’t even say hi, please or thank you during the whole service. We asked for menus and just got one, she seemed in a hurry all the time to go back to her phone which she did the whole time we were there waiting to order and then get the bill at the end. Very rude and in general just a terrible service. There are so many good Venezuelan servers around London that I would’ve never expected to have such a bad service here. It definitely ruined the whole experience.
Surely the best Arepa in London. Stunning.
I waited a long time to be served. They took my order some of the things I wanted they didn’t have which is fair enough then some people arrived after me sat next to me go served and their food came before mine and they were apologising profusely to them my food took a long while to come no apologies to very interesting. I doubt I will go back.
Decided to give it a go today since I've been passing this place for a long time and got intrigued. Never had Venezuelan food before and it was definitely something. Sancocho caught my eye since I love proper broth and it was like mum's coking: massive bowl of soup, full of meat, veggies, not spicy at all, that was my expectation, but hot and fulfilling. That's what I call comfort food. Couldn't take mains, was just to full, but will come back again. Dessert was just ok thou. Nice service but I got a bit confused since I wasn't sure is there a table service or not. Seems you order from the counter and they would bring your order to you, at least that's what most people did where I was there. Not a problem at all, I'm very simple person. Clean, nice décor and atmosphere, seems like a family run business. Oh, and great value for money too, paid 20 quid which is not that much in economy we are in.
Great Tequenos, yummy broth (Friday and Saturday)
