If you're looking for a bar with a great atmosphere, friendly wait staff, and extraordinary pizza, Conte's is the place to go. The pizza crust brings back memories of old fashioned Trenton tomato pies ...the well done kind that doesn't flop over when you pick it up. Will be returning often. Came here because it is so well reviewed but I can't understand why. Our mushroom pizza tastes like cardboard. The pizza had no flop to it, was crunchy... Worse than a frozen pizza. The restaurant itself was old and dim, maybe to hide the water stains in the drop ceiling tiles. Not trying to be negative but really couldn't understand what the hype was about.
