Compton's Original Seafood & Chicken

This restaurant is absolutely 100%. I ordered the #4 special and when I tell you, my fish and Shrimp was season and cook with pure love . I ordered macaroni & cheese and greens for my side orders when I tell you homemade mac & cheese I mean, homemade mac & cheese the green were made with love I also had cornbread and Peach Cobblar everything was 100% good . The customer service and atmosphere was great. Trust me if you want good fish and real homemade sides. This is the place to be thank you I’m definitely a happy & returning Customer.

I was very disappointed with my food. I purchased Lemon Chicken the frying of the chicken EXCELLENT but seasoning VERY VERY SALTY I couldn't enjoy it at all IT WAS OVER SEASONED. HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE. THE GREENS HORRIBLE FROZEN I WOULD SAY TAKE YOUR TIME WITH COOK SOME FRESH GREENS.

I know seafood is on the menu, but my favorite item is the Lemon Pepper Chicken wings and fries. Heated the wings the next day and they were just as tasty. Excellent customer service. I’ll definitely be back.

The food was amazing! I have ordered several times. So far my favorites are fried cat fish, honey BBQ wings, lemon pepper wings, collard greens, Mac and cheese and topped it off with caramel delicious cake. Thank you for your awesome service and see you soon!!!

Very salty and fish was over cooked.

Had fried red snapper, chicken wings, and Mac n cheese. Snapper was fantastic - perfect breading, or should I say corning. So crispy and was even crispy the next day. Wings were succulent Hush puppies brought back memories of my great grandmother making them with the back door open because all of the dogs in the neighborhood came by to get their share while the chicken was being fried. Noticeably nothing was greasy. Second time there - will certainly go again. Only drawback is the parking.

The food is delicious, service is stellar! I love the honey barbecue wings and Lemon pepper. Macaroni and cheese and greens. Yum… Don’t forget the desserts, peach cobbler, banana, pudding, 7 up pound cake and caramel cake. The fish for me is the catfish with fries and coleslaw. It’s really good. Dietary restrictions: They have a heart healthy menu and a no salt seasoning option.
