Nice place. Staff is not super friendly, but we liked the food and ambiance. Staff is, by the way, not aware of the legislation around putting tips on the bill. I didn't make a fuss, but what they do is not really (far from) best practice. Or is it illegal?

The food was phenomenal. Some of the best I have ever had for North African.
We dined in this restaurant, as the food was arriving a stranger came up to our table asking for change. The manager did nothing to remove this person, whilst we were trying to get them to leave us alone, the person stole my partners phone from our table. It wasn’t until going to pay the bill we realised it was missing. The manager was unhelpful and unapologetic, absolutely disgraceful.
I went to eat here knowing different branches and always enjoying their food. I do not really leave reviews usually as I’ve worked for 5+ years in hospitality and appreciate delays/wrong evenings but have to say that the way they handles my table was very poor. The order was taken within a short timeframe and I asked to bring things as they came without dividing starters and mains, we were fairly hungry and were happy to receive all together. We received the starters in around 10 min but it’s mainly sauces so kind of expected and since we finished I think we waited around 45minutes with the team acknowledging their delay multiple times but not doing anything to make the experience feel a bit less “bad”. Maybe bringing some bread/hommous while waiting. When the food finally arrived was nice, I can’t say anything about it but the main point was the genuine interest of the team on our experience. You can apologise as much as you want but is clear when meant and when not. We took away the food and asked for the bill as this was getting a bit too much. I appreciate you are busy, but when we arrived there were 2 tables and ours so I don’t think this was really the case of our delay.
