If you're a celiac or need to eat gluten-free for medical/autoimmune/allergy reasons, don't come here as you will get sick! My wife is a celiac, and we were told the chicken fried steak was gluten-free along with app fried dishes here because they didn't have a shared fryer. Great! We ordered the chicken fried steak breakfast w/ gluten-free toast along with a few other gluten-free dishes. However, when we received our bill, the chicken fried steak just said "toast" below it and didn't say gluten-free toast despite the other items on our bill listing gluten-free next to or below them. We asked the server if this meant the toast wasn't gluten-free because we obviously already ate it, and she said yes, it was a regular order, and it was her mistake like it was no big deal. A mistake?! Getting people extremely sick is not just a simple mistake! This place needs to stop advertising as gluten-free as their staff don't see to care or know what they're doing. I do not recommend this place and definitely not coming back!! Dietary restrictions: They falsely advertise as gluten-free when they are not a dedicated gluten-free restaurant and can easily accidentally give a celiac regular gluten containing bread/food
Was good food and people.
i normal always rate good quality food but i give it 9/10 felt the stuff tiast was too sweet i would of prefer Whip cream but that just me. , but on this case it wasn’t the food i’ll rate it is ther service, first time my husband and i try this, always get a gracious smile n a attitude instead a work was literally arguing with my husband and all we did is call in an order but didn’t even take it or have the courtesy of writing in our order, it’s common sense. as we got there i couldn’t believe it. i swear there was almost a fight and he was a barista! i love that they have gluten-free,and have vegan option there amazing had the vegan bowl and stuff tench toast. i don’t dislike it was just too sweet for my taste.
Impressed! The French toast bites were so perfectly crunchy on the outside but fluffy inside. The biscuit and gravy was SO good- don’t expect a fluffy biscui, it’s dense like normal gf biscuits but that does not detract anything from the dish IMO. The chicken and waffles was absolutely delicious and I haven’t been able to have it in years! So crunchy and just a touch of sweet (I did not get spicy bc that’s not my thing). And my husband loved the marmalade that comes on the Johnny Rooster. Sincerely SO happy and can’t wait to come back.
Always a fantastic place for breakfast or brunch! Berry mimosas a must!
I ate here with a group of friends for my birthday. We were seated outside because there were so many people inside. it was pretty comfortable until we started getting hit by the noonday sun, so I don’t necessarily recommend sitting outside during the summer, as there's not much shade. My friends and I ordered mimosas and various mixed drinks. I ordered the hangover cure with sweet potato fries, sausage, eggs, and gravy. Let me tell you... It was one of the best brunch items I've probably ever eaten. I don't live nearby anymore, so I've not been back, but I definitely recommend and will go back next time I'm in the area! Dietary restrictions: They've got numerous GF options. This is one of my friend's favorite places to eat. She’s very sensitive to gluten.
