Compa Craft Coffee, Breakfast and Lunch

Excellent shop. The owner was very kind to take his time to describe the differences between different ways they serve their coffee, which was excellent. I'm only visiting here but would definitely make this my go-to if I was a resident!

Only leaving a review to communicate to the business to change their hours on Google business listing bc we just drove super far to find out they don't open at 11, and it's only 10. We can't wait an hour, unfortunately. It was disappointing BUT the place looks cute and staff was arriving to be ready for clients at 11, looking forward to returning someday during open hours. Sad we missed out today.

Stopped on a road trip for breakfast, I had the Palmer and my friend had the Lebneh as well as some coffees. Food was fantastic, and the service from Ramy was even better! Highly recommend

All I got was a latte, but it was terrible. Really burnt tasting and watery, temperature was extremely hot (which isn’t the case for a well made espresso) also had some grounds floating in it. It was so bad I could only take a couple sips before giving up, which I’ve only done once before in my life. I got it to go, or I would have said something. Still giving three stars because I didn’t try their food or cocktails - maybe that is what you should go for instead?

Cool new spot in the North Gate plaza. Good food. The buffalo chicken egg rolls are amazing.

Went for lunch. It was excellent! Will be back to try dinner next.

Compa has a very cool vibe atmosphere. There was plenty of seating and it was definitely not busy. In fact, my wife and I were the only two table that was there to order food. The few other people there were either sitting at the bar with drinks or on the couches with drinks. This is where the review goes downhill. My wife and I both ordered the Smash Burger with Fries, along with a half-sized Caesar Salad for me on the side. My burger I ordered with bacon for an extra $2. The burgers did arrive very quickly but mine was missing the bacon, and the side salad was also not brought out. After reminding the runner she left to get the missing items. This took entirely too long to where after five or so minutes of waiting I decided to just eat my burger without the bacon so it would not get cold. Aside from this the food was not as good as we hoped. The size of the burger I found was not commensurate with the $16 price and the bun was not proportionate to the meat in that you tasted more bun than beef. As you can see in the photograph the bun dwarfed the meat. It literally reminded me of that old Wendy’s commercial from the 1980s. Even if the size of the burger was adequate it lacked any real flavoring to where it was commented that McDonald’s burgers taste better. The one aspect of the meal that was really good, though, were the fries. The fries were no doubt the highlight of our meal and we both enjoyed the seasoning they used. My wife and I really wanted to like this place. But in the end we left wishing we had gone somewhere else. That all being said, given that Compa is a new place we may go back in the future to give them another try.

Just a quick review after my first visit. I ordered the breakfast tacos for lunch and OMG the two huge tacos were the best I ever had and at an amazing price! Do yourself a favor, eat here!
