Terrible service by Brian
I am from Yucatán - I understand that there are spins on ceviches but the three ceviches were subpar. Especially the Acapulco ceviche. The yucatecan one - I don’t even know where to start, it was so bad and Yucatán doesn’t use coconut/mango as a base. I’d suggest researching and tasting yucatecan ceviche more. We told the waitress about the Acapulco one being flavorless and she came back and said that the chef agreed. That it needed salt. And yet we weren’t offered or given a new portion or had it taken off the bill. We ordered the “esquites”, hongos and Branzino grilled. Esquites were corn with a slab of congealed cheese on it. Barely resembling any esquite. Had to ask for salt for the mushrooms. The branzino was fine. The martinis were great and beauitful, the ambience is also fun. But so NOT worth or even close to being worth $176 dollars - go spend that elsewhere.
Oysters, salmon, and pasta were perfect.
Best restaurant in south Miami! The courtyard is beautifully decorated with Turkish lighting. We have multiple people who keep coming back and checking on us to make sure we are happy with the dishes we ordered. The server Ken made awesome recommendations. The food is amazing. We had such a wonderful time and unforgettable memory. Highly recommended!
The drinks were terrible. When taking our order the server gave us alot of attitude when we asked for the mezcal drink options. Took little time to explain and the drinks were of poor quality. When cashing out the server already included the tip and told us so with again alot of attitude. I have never seen for two people and 2 drinks someone go out of there way to include a 20 percent tip giving is no option. Tips are meant to be given based on the overall quality of service and not a by default service fee.
Nice place, great food and attentive staff
