Everything tasted delicious. Service was efficient and quick server(who I think is the big boss) was funny and helpful with the menu. Seating is great and cozy also always a plus.

Great food. Happy hour M-F 5-6. Good selection on Asian fusion, draft beer, and cocktails. Food is excellent so is service. Nice ambience. Good place for a date. It gets packed. Make reservations or come at 5. Parking is difficult to find at this location.

Really liked this place, very consistent menu with several good options

My new favorite local bar. Unassuming bar with great atmosphere that packs a punch of flavor in every dish. I was literally wowed by the flavors of their Asian fusion dishes. Not to mention an amazing happy hour every day of the week.

Talk about a hidden gem! @communitytavern is an amazing restaurant owned and run by husband & wife, Joey & Brenna Beato. It’s an American restaurant with a Pan-Asian influence and the flavors are WOW! The crispy rice noodles were fantastic! The noodles were fried PERFECTLY for that balance of soft mixed with the crunch. It’s tossed in a lemongrass ragu with chicken and fried garlic. ❤️ It was full of so much flavor! The Korean potato pancake is a great appetizer that has just enough heat to get your tastebuds warmed up. EVERYTHING tastes so FRESH here and I LOVE the actual “community” feeling you get as soon as you walk in; lots of smiles and families here! The drinks are very well crafted, too! AND, kids EAT FREE Tuesday - Thursday and Sunday, for each adult meal purchase of $16 or more. Stop by for a delicious meal and tell em that Bri from Planes and Plates sent you!

Ate dinner here after Eater recently rated Community Tavern to have one of the best burgers in Chicago. The service, food and the vibe was excellent! Their burger was amazing. They have a Happy Hour between 5-6 and the selection of food and drink on the HH menu was excellent. Shout out to our server Pete. He was very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend Community Tavern and look forward to going back. Parking: Pay to Park but easy to find a spot Kid-friendliness: Although I didn’t see any children when I was there but their Happy Hour menu offers Kids eat free between 5-6 pm.
