DON'T RISK HAVING RAW OYSTER AT COMMON RESTAURANT!!!! I went there with my friend on 3/8/2024 and had a sever food poisoning. It was the worst time in my life, feeling like dying. I had both raw oyster and prepared raw oyster. Moreover, there was no emergency button in the restroom, and I was stuck there in enormous pain for more than 15 minutes before someone helped me call an ambulance. It costed me over $500 dollars after insurance coverage for the ER for the first night. And the bill from the ER for the second day is on its way to my mailbox." Other unpleasant but now relatively minor points include: 1. Despite booking seats in advance, we still had to wait 20 minutes before being seated. 2. Me and my friend ended up spending over $250 on food and drinks, but honestly, nothing stood out as particularly impressive or flavorful. So when the waiter asked if we needed boxes, we were both like, "No, thanks." It didn't seem worth the money. Again, DON'T RISK HAVING RAW OYSTER AT COMMON RESTAURANT!!!! Really awesome place, all the crew is nice and welcomes you in a very warm-hearted way!

The lunch is very overpriced for what you get and it's not even tasty.

We went for Sunday brunch and the experience and food were underwhelming. Oyster options tried to be unique but ended up just masking the flavor of the oyster. Cornbread was burned and falling apart so couldn't be used as a base for the cheese and meats on the board. Corn and scallop mousse was flavorless. Pesto crab caprese was the only thing we would order again and was very good. Would be willing to eat here one more time but definitely seems to be a menu with hits and misses.

I had the opportunity to dine at this establishment for Sunday brunch and truly enjoyed the atmosphere as well as the service. I ordered the crab cake Benedict and my husband had the Ordinary Bowl. I was not impressed by the meal, especially for the price. The presentation was benefit: however, my crab cakes were extremely overcooked, hard and dry as well as the biscuit. I tried my husband's Ordinary Bowl which had a little flavor, but not much. I still encourage one to try because everyone's taste buds are different.

Our party of 5 enjoyed everything we ate and drank on Sunday evening. Sam was our server and she was so nice and attentive. If you want a nice night out in Savannah, go here!

Sat upstairs, which wasn't our favorite but ok. My family still points to the great meal they had. I had the short ribs, which were sweet which was odd. I couldn't eat them so they brought me the special was outstanding. The bar life was so good. Really fun!
