I couldn't order the specials off the website, so I called in, and they told me that it's not possible to order on the website. So, I tried to put in an order on the phone, but they said they don't take orders on the phone. How do I order specials then? They said I would have to come in and order to go in person, then wait for the food. I asked them to put the order in for me now. They said no. Why? "It's the rules." I asked for a manager, and the person said they were the supervisor there in the restaurant. So I said, if you're manager, and you're there, please put the order in for me and I will come and pick it up. They said no. Not because they couldn't but because it was the rules. ??? Dumbest restaurant interaction I have ever heard of. Do I have to beg you to take my money?

We rented the space out for our staff holiday party back in December and it was the best party we’d had in years. Pre-event planning was clear, quick, and easy (and Sydney was very patient with all my questions!). And on the night of, Comal’s staff were so kind and so efficient—even as the host I felt like I could completely relax since they thought of and took care of everything. The vibes of the space were fun, the timing of food was perfect, the food itself was soo delicious, and the drinks were fantastic. We will definitely be back!

Tortas are fantastic. Burritos and salads are not far behind.

5 star consistency. The food is great! The staff is courteous. The setting is convenient and comfortable. The chips are exceptional! I’m a big fan of chips and guacamole and the salsas are superb. Sometimes bowl, sometimes burrito, always consistent. Perfect spot to grab a quick lunch with a friend or colleague or late night last minute dinner plan. Comal Next Door is my favorite taqueria on Grand. Vegetarian options: The vegetarian options are great because they go way beyond the typical veggie options at a taqueria. Mushroom and spinach burrito (or burrito bowl) is excellent!

Ordered online for the first time and there's a whole hair in my burrito. I'm bald. Never again.
