The restaurant is connected to a market. It gave a strong feeling of closeness. The service needs improvement, but the food was incredibly delicious
A bit noisy, but really delicious food. We both had different Bun servings and they were both quite tasty. Close to Tohono Chul and a great option for lunch !! We'll come again !!
We always have a wonderful experience when we eat here....Delicious Pho!
Always come for the hard to find stuff
Great option for Vietnamese food. Their com tam and nem nuong are good. Their Pho is ok.
We were told 15 minutes wait. Asked where our food was after waiting for 20 minutes, and they made the excuse of the person that ordered before us had many on their order. If we were told this before we made our order, we would never have ordered at all. 10 more minutes pass by, still no order. We asked to have our money back. Only then did they attempt to move. The man and woman whom we interacted with were very loud and rude. Whatever food they gave, even if they are good would always taste bad due to this experience. We would not recommend others dining here.
My visit to Com Tam Thuan Kieu was an absolute delight, and it's become my go-to spot for authentic Vietnamese cuisine, especially their specialty in broken rice dishes! The ambiance was welcoming, and the aroma of freshly prepared dishes instantly set the stage for a fantastic dining experience. What truly stood out was their exceptional attention to detail and the authenticity of the flavors. The broken rice dishes were simply outstanding! Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with authentic Vietnamese flavors. The tenderness of the grilled meats, the flavorsome sauces, and the perfectly cooked rice showcased the chef's expertise. Not only were the dishes exceptional, but the service was also top-notch. The staff was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent recommendations. If you're a fan of Vietnamese cuisine or looking to explore something new, I highly recommend Com Tam Thuan Kieu. It's a gem for broken rice enthusiasts and anyone seeking a genuine Vietnamese culinary experience. Kudos to the team for maintaining such high standards in both food quality and service. I'll definitely be returning for more delightful meals
My family are regulars. When we do dine in or do "To Go", I really enjoy the food. To make a long story short, the older woman called me a liar, looked at other customers next to me and said, "I asked her and she said no." Then continued on about it with customers and her daughter (I believe) who brought my order out. I just responded, "I did say yes and I'm going to leave it at that." I didn't feel that it was worth it for me to escalate it any more than what she had done herself. She charged me more money to correct the order, the older lady said since it was under $5 I couldn't use my card. I told her that's all I have, that I didn't have cash so she mentioned that she would do it this time and threw my card and receipt at me after. She seems angry and too prideful to admit that she forgot or didn't hear. She was just so focused on being right. Either way, if you are in customer service please be kind. Everyone is going thru something. There's no reason to be so rude, disrespectful or point fingers when you are WRONG or right. I will not go back to spend my money if she's working there! Note: Food is good, not worth it due to this experience with the older woman. Her daughter (I believe) was great though, very genuine and kind!
