Collins Quarter at Forsyth

One of the best restaurants in Savannah if you're looking to grab brunch or lunch. I visited here recently with my friend's recommendation. The food and the service was top notch. We tried Turkish eggs (with a side of roasted shrimp), the park burger (with chicken Pattie), iced hibiscus tea and hot chocolate for lunch. Everyone was so good. I would highly recommend Turkish eggs. It comes with falafel and they are amazing. The only thing about this place is it's super crowded over the weekend. Luckily we were able to grab a table in under 5 mins. It's a very fast moving crowd, I wish we could enjoy our meal in a bit more relaxed atmosphere. I think I'll try to check this place out during the weekdays.

The location is incredible and the food is somehow even better! Collins Quarter is nestled in Forsyth Park and, over a meal, one can enjoy the sights of live oaks hanging with Spanish moss and the sounds of musicians performing in the park. The food here is absolutely incredible and vegans and vegetarians alike will find plenty of the menu. I found the Chia pudding and the avocado toast to be particularly delicious. Food is mid at best. Took 30 minutes for a server to greet us and give us water. Too loud to converse without yelling. It’s one of these places trying to be “a vibe “, and it just misses horribly.

There were 5 of us and 1 was parking. They made us wait under sun (parking was not available) until he joins. My wife has seeds allergy and asked for seedless bread, they said they have only one type of bread. She took bagel and they brought bagel with seeds. Bagel was not toasted well and she asked for steak knife. They said they don’t have it. The food was ok, but nothing special. Coffee was cold and tasted bad. Absolutely overrated place. They are clearly taking advantage of an amazing location to attract people.

The location is amazing, the employees are friendly, the wait wasn't as long as we thought it was going to be, and they are dog friendly! The food was good, the fries are my favorite!
