Colima's Mexican Foods

Ordered a carne asada burrito, side of rice. What I got was the rice inside the burrito and no guacamole in the burrito. Plus there were chunks of iceberg lettuce! Worst burrito I've had. I do not recommend.

Extremely overpriced for small portions and mediocre food. Do not recommend. There are much better places in town

I’ve been coming to this colimas for over 10 years. I’ve always enjoyed the shrimp quesadilla, breakfast burrito, steak ranchero plate, machaca burrito & tilapia plate. If you were wanting a taco shop with great portions and great flavor this was the place Id tell people to come. Sadly this year something changed with the cook. My last two visits I was very disappointed. First order I got a shrimp quesadilla and my tortilla was completely burnt. And today I went and spent $50 and again was disappointed. I ordered to caldo de res, cheese quesadilla two drinks and a side of rice. The soups had no flavor and the color of the broth looks like water. The tortillas that came with the soup were so dry. The quesadilla again was burnt and had barely any cheese. Not sure this is the place to come anymore.

Cute little eat in or take out. I had a fish taco (delicious, great sauce and toppings) and shared carne asada fries. Both were great. Fresh pico de Gallo. Service is friendly (and patient). A favorite place.

Good little place to have great Mexican food.

As a fan of Mexican food establishments here in the Chula Vista area, it is my humble opinion that this eatery serves excellent dishes throughout the menu. This specific Colima's location prepares a delicious chile rellenos plate, not to mention their BOGO half off any second breakfast item deal is clutch (especially for those who want to save $$ & have a taco shop partner-in-crime!). Do yourself a favor & try the breakfast burritos here, they're my personal favorite. Colima's is a little gem of Bonita for sure!
