I don’t even know where to begin. A knockoff Colette in the back of a …. Lobster tail? Why is my margarita yellow? Why is the music off? Why is the bartender wearing a hoodie? Why is nobody here? Why is the air conditioning blasting in January? Just trying to get a cocktail before a show at the Colonial Theater….I think we got lost and ended up in a little bar out of the third world country. There are even picture frames….with no pictures in them.. strange experience. Seems as if a money laundering operation.
We’re out of everything really, don’t know how old the wine they poured us was. Service was good.
Downgraded my rating from 4 to 3 stars and wish I could do 2.5 stars. Ive been here about 5 times and each time was a little worse than the last. The drinks are adequate, but they can't make anything a real bar could make, just the overly sweet cocktails on the menu. The food is extremely hit or miss. I ordered the exact same lobster skewers on two visits. First time: life changing. Amazing. Second time: they deep fried a shelled lobster. I had to pick through it to get to the meat. Total waste of a lobster and the goodness of deep frying. I would have sent it back but clearly the chef had no idea what they were doing. This place is great for a pre-show drink because they're fast. But fast doesn't equal good. And the reason they're fast is that no one wants to be there.
Affordable drinks and good atmosphere
Horrible vibes, no music, just an overall awkward experience
Such a hidden gem in Boston! My friends and I went here and had a blast. The bartenders Ally and Kayla were so friendly and made amazing drinks. Definitely recommend
We went here for a drink after a show at the Emerson Colonial Theater. Terry the bartender was amazing and we had a blast unwinding after the show here.
We sat in the Red Light District… A huge, radiant, red neon sign featuring the lounge’s name in lights. Our girls night out table was happening all night, and The Witches of Back Bay were looking for trouble! Having stayed in New Orleans for a couple of months, I was really looking forward to Nola style food. The corn on the cob, mac & cheese and fried catfish they served were good.… Mac & cheese was by far everyone’s favorite. But, many felt the cat fish breading lacked any flavor… And Nola is known for its seasoning. TIP: The bathroom door lock was broken. So, knock before you enter the throne!
Loveddddd this place! Very good vibes, the bartender was great, and the drinks were amazing. The food was a little unseasoned but the overall energy made up for it. Will definitely be back!
