Quaint atmosphere, friendly service, fabulous breakfast.
After asking a question and putting an order in, I heard the waitress making racist comments about me and people like me. I found that very inappropriate and toxic and left immediately. Please avoid this place, bad vibes.
Lovely folks. Excellent breakfast and the best Birria I've found in the keys. I'm originally from South Texas and live here. I am impressed. Birria on Fridays after breakfast only. Kid-friendliness: Always lovely to my children.
I've been here a handful of times now. It's the exact same thing every time. It's the service that I find atrocious. Not friendly people. I really don't think I'm going to come back here again. I always walk out of here feeling disrespected and not necessarily welcome
Cocos is a hidden gem. Food is always great, but my favorite is the churrasco style steak (medium rare) and eggs (over easy) with a side of grits and their buttered bread. Oh and Cocos’ habanero hot sauce should be marketed and sold worldwide. I usually pick up a couple bottles to take home every time I go there. I love hot sauce - all kinds - but this is my favorite of all time. I go through bottles of Cocos’ hot sauce like Taylor Swift goes through boyfriends. Get you some.
Went for lunch and I would recommend this unassuming diner. We had the mixed Cuban sandwich and guava and cream cheese empanadas. Both were excellent. The staff were very friendly.
I always enjoy my breakfast at Cocos. Huveo Rancheros is one of my favorites
What a nice surprise, a delightful Cuban kitchen in a strip mall with absolutely delicious food and super friendly people working there. The atmosphere is nothing special but the food certainly makes up for it. If they're busy, you have to order at the register, otherwise they'll greet you at the table. They have a very big lunch crowd.
