Unreliable. It’s been a couple of times recently that they keep the door locked at least 45 minutes after opening. Both times I tried knocking and I’m pretty sure the people inside just didn’t want to deal with customers at the time. Just change your opening time to 7 if you don’t want to open at 6!!!!

I visit here quite often and it's good service and certainly is good food. Recommended Parking: Depending on the time you visit parking can be difficult. But that's true for most of the downtown Oak Bay area. Best to pick your times.

Mmmmmmmm Sourdough Flax

Walking past the bakery I couldn’t resist the smells coming out. Great spot for a tasty treat or two.

This is Cob’s Bread on Oak Bay Avenue, which is incredibly handy for locals and for those wandering the Avenue shopping. It is a small bakery, yet it has a good selection of baked goods, from varieties of breads, including seasonal choices, savoury and sweet croissants, flatbreads, scones, buns, etc. Just about everything you would expect at a good bakery. I was pleased to see that the staff at this location were very pleasant. We purchased the spinach and feta croissants, scones, and two varieties of bread. All were fresh and tasted delicious. There are two benches directly outside the bakery, so a convenient place to sit if you’re grabbing a quick bite. There is limited parking outside the bakery, which is adjacent to a few other shops. Definitely recommend this location.

Best cinnamon buns in town and the apricot log bread is really tasty as well. Friendly customer service also.
