Coast Cafe

Had a great Saint Patrick's day lunch here! It was very good with corn beef, cabbage, potatoes, carrots and some kind of Irish type muffin. Really excellent. I will be back.

We had such a lovely experience at the Coast Cafe this past weekend. The service from our greeting from the GM, to our server, and the rest of the wait staff was so friendly, attentive, knowledgable about the food, and over all created a great experience for my family and I. We sat next to the fire at a four top which made for a cozy ambiance. We ordered a bunch of stuff, the 1/2 crab, clam chowder, house made sour dough toasted with olive oil and garlic, the vegan seasame tofu, fish and chips, and belgium waffle for one of my sons. The food was delicious and satsifying. This great experience was a highlight of our visit to the north bay and I can easily count the Coast Cafe as one of my new faves in the area. Dietary restrictions: Vegan-friendly Kid-friendliness: The staff was so friendly to our kids and made dining out really fun for them. They also brought out their food first and had no problem giving us extra napkins when needed.

I liked this cafe with a quaint atmosphere in the small coastal town of Bolinas. The food was good and my husband especially liked the clam chowder.

Wonderful food and service. The fish tacos and sauteed Swiss chard were outstanding. The atmosphere fits the comfort of this town. Don't miss this one.

Disgusting owner

Owner wasn’t very friendly. Sincerely disappointing.

Quaint space. Great food (large portions). Loved the Belgian waffle, house potatoes, and the fish tacos looked good, too. Friendly service. Have spent many, many days over past 20 years in Bolinas and have walked past Coast Cafe more times than I can count. Glad I finally stopped to check it out. Will be back.

Fish and chips are about the best I've had this side of the pond. Using fresh rock fish helps a lot. A decent selection of beers on tap. Ducked a star for "credit card processing fee" of 4%, which is not only ridiculous, but not even allowed according to Visa merchant rules.
