Cleo's Southern Cuisine

The dining area is small but we were able to grab a seat at a table. The food was hot and good. We tried our food and dessert before we left. I had Mac and cheese, sweet potatoes,grits with catfish and crab on top. It came with a corn muffin. My favorite dish was the Mac and cheese then the grits with the catfish and crab. I would definitely go again so I can try some other things on the menu. My friend got the catfish as well and she enjoyed it.

The food here is good. The service could improve on their customer service skills. I did have a 40 minute wait to get my order so I do recommend calling it in ahead of time. Overall I would order from here again and maybe dine in next time.

So I finally gave in bit the bullet and tried Cleo’s on Cottage Grove. Was not disappointed at all the food was amazing lil pricey but good . We had the Hot and Honey Fried Catfish and The Float & Fly. The 24K gold corn muffin and those pineapple, sweet potato OMG crazy good all that was messing was some collard greens “HINT” Definitely a 5 start experience

Good food

Everything was outstanding and the staff were so friendly! The chicken and waffles were unreal as were the corn muffins, mac and cheese, and greens. Highly recommend to anyone looking for excellent southern cuisine!

Really, REALLY good food. This is the closest to home (Philly) I’ve had since living in Chicago. I haven’t been back since this review because the prices. 2 people is close to 2 bills. No joke.
