Clay Oven Indian Cuisine

The restaurant is closed on Monday. It says open on Monday and when we arrive with party of 10 for dinner at 7 PM, The doors were closed and there was no update on google. We came after conference and we had to find another place to eat.

Always a delight to order from Clay Oven and pick it up. Not only is the food great (both the vegetarian and meat types), I really enjoy having a conversation with the owner/chef/bartender.

Excellent! The mint chutney, scorpion sauce, chicken tikka masala, I could have any day of the week. Truly deep flavors. Very friendly people. I wish the black cobra chicken would come back. Parking: Tough during the lunch rush hour.

We loved the in-person dining experience for years, and post-COVID take-out/delivery is just as exceptional. This is the real thing. Family owned, amazing dishes and the flavors are spot on every time.

My go to Indian restaurant in OC for years. I appreciate that they use organic produce and high quality meats.

In my humble (Indian) opinion, Clay Oven consistently delivers inventive and quality Indian dishes which keep one coming back for more. Along with wonderful & personalized service, an expansive beverage menu, and clean, rich flavors, Clay Oven is a top destination for refined international cuisine.

Best ever..LOVE in a bag

Clay Oven is by far the best Indian food our family has ever had. Nothing comes close to their quality and taste. Our favorite is the Chicken Tikka Masala. We’ve been dining here for years. Super friendly!

Consistently the some of best quality food I have found in orange county. Lovely, kind people. Delightfully delicious meals. Creative cooking with lots of love in it. Fantastic. Can’t recommend highly enough.
