[I also posted this review on Yelp.] Superb! Friendly and professional staff (everyone: kitchen staff, servers, bartenders, owners); yummy, varied food; great spirits selection; best wine list in the neighborhood; rota of musicians on Friday nights. It's become a real neighborhood meeting spot. Not that newbies should be discouraged (not at all, it's EXTREMELY friendly). I've met several people who've been a little intimidated to go there because it's called a 'wine bar.' I'd encourage you to ignore that. It's a restaurant/bar that has a bigger wine list than most bars - but not some snooty place where wine is all you're expected to drink (and have a knowledge of), nor is it more expensive. It has a superb corner location with large picture windows on two sides, terrific sunlight; people-watching; romantic at night; lovely to watch the snow or rain. A special spot.
Don’t go here!!! the bartender THREW my coat and my purse with my wallet on the street because he overheard me talking about politics and did t agree with me .. This place is garbage .. After 10 yrs of being a patron this is how i was treated . You are going to be fired !!!! Tell the boss man NEIL part owner and Jackie < the real owners i’m filing a lawsuit. for the throwing all my belongings on the street . YOUR DONE .. i’m permitted to have conversations without nosy bartenders overhearing and throwing all my personal belongings on the sidewalk
One of the signature spots, and one of my personal faves, in all of Sunnyside! Great selection of beer, wine and spirits. Kevin, owner and bartender, has great conversations. The food is awesome around: charcuterie boards, flatbread pizzas, etc. My personal faves are the salmon tartine and clam chowder. Also live music many nights. What's not to like?
Outstanding! Food ⭐️ Service ⭐️♥️ Nicky is the most sweet and helpful person. Tomato soup plus cheese sandwich
This wine bar is a neighborhood gem! I have been living in Sunnyside for about 3 years now & come back regularly. The owners Kevin & Jaci really care about their business & community. It shows in everything from their food & wine selection to the variety of weekly live music they bring in. Best happy hour in the neighborhood by far!! My favorites to get here aside from their charcuterie board or flatbreads are the truffle mac n cheese, mussels pil pil, and meatballs. If you are looking for a cozy wine bar in the neighborhood then this is your spot!
Came in for happy hour and couldn't be any happier we did! Excellent options to choose from and superb service! Had a bottle of wine with a charcuterie board, muscles and olives, and the pate. All excellent! Jacki and Jen checked up on us and were helpful in our choices! Can't wait to go back to try other items on the menu!
Neighborhood favorite. Excellent menu and great drinks, though it’s the people (Jackie, Kevin, Neil, Bob, and Jen) who make this place as special as it is. The Champignon Pizza with honey and red pepper flakes is
