Claim Jumper Steakhouse & Bar- Costa Mesa

Don't order for delivery/takeout. I ordered their wings from UberEats and I called the store to make sure they could make the wings extra saucy as the last couple of times I've gotten them for dine in they were dry and I had to ask for extra sauce. The girl who answered the phone told me she would let the kitchen know. Not only were they not extra sauce they were dry. Absolutely no sauce on them. For $16 you can get way better wings somewhere else.

Claim Jumper has certainly gone downhill over the years. The best item we had was the steak, which was done correctly. Not really seasoned, but the doneness was as requested. On the other hand... the appetizer we had (southwest spring rolls) was overcooked and the sauces were underflavored and very non-complimentary. There was a slaw that somehow contained both flavors and was simply awful. The burger we had had a similar issue with clashing flavors with a sweet whiskey sauce paired with provolone and mushrooms. After waiting 30 minutes for the check, we just paid up front. No one asked me how the food was. I guess they knew. I expect this was my last visit here.

Ordered from this place on uber eats. A simple uncomplicated order. They did not include in the order the entree chicken pot pie. This item was $21 on Uber eats. They included the side item of fries just not the actual entree. When you’re waiting for your dinner and it’s already overpriced it’s extremely disappointing when careless stuff like this happens and you receive an incomplete order. The rest of the food was subpar, mediocre, average, cold. So nothing really redeemable worth noting.

Food is great as always. Service was unusually slow.

Had the mahi fish sandwich with roasted veggies. Everything tasted great. Update - 2/20/24 - Blackened salmon entree with slaw & roasted veggies, which were all great.

A long wait bit worth it.

Our waiter questioned my wife, kids and I on his tip amount before we left the restaurant. This is highly unprofessional and extremely rude. We will never eat at Claim Jumper again and will tell family and friends about this experience to avoid this place. Minimum wage in CA for a server is $16 an hour so the servers here are easily making $40 an hour after tips. Very ungrateful person. I regret not adjusting my tip amount to zero. You don't deserve anything! Greedy. Update: I emailed the address they provided but never got back to me. Haha ok. Why bother responding to me and providing an email when you could careless?. Thanks for wasting my time!

Came here for valentines day! The drinks we got were delicious . The steak was filling even though it was small. The baked potato was warm to cold-ish. The brussell sprouts were good but not as good as the California fish grill ones. Overall I'd say decent for $100.00 including tip on valentines day.
