City Tacos

Best tacos i’ve ever had in my life. Every taco was unique and had so much flavor. Great value!! So impressed <3

I mean this from the bottom and sincerest part of my heart, the best part of the interaction was the sauce bar. This “hole in the wall” is overhyped and overpriced. The staff was friendly and kind; however the food was cold and lacked flavor. I ordered a quesabirria and the cheese was solid and cold after being melted/ warmed up. The main complaint about the tacos is the meat was cold. I ordered 4 pollo asado tacos and the meat would have been warmer out the microwave.

Just visiting the area - arrived a bit late and needed a meal. We picked City Tacos because it was open and had great reviews, even for vegetarian choices. We ordered the chile relleno, zucchini & mushroom tocos. All were delectable! We loved the food so much that we went again before leaving town! Highly recommend!!

I stopped by to try their surf & turf taco and the mexicali taco. This is my first time, and they didn't disappoint me. "Tasty." They used flour shells . The place was clean. Alan, the server was helpful and polite. Price wasn't bad. I ate the Mexicali taco before I thought to take a picture, but here's the fish taco. Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room for me to get in and out just as long as they weren't crowded.

Tacos were delicious, good sized, and generously portioned. Plus the person taking orders was friendly with great suggestions.

Huge tacos at reasonable prices with lots of good drinks and other items.

We ordered for pickup, and only when we got home did we realize a taco was missing! We paid for something we never got, and the bags are all stapled up in the restaurant so it’s not easy to check you’ve got everything before you leave. Please be more careful you included everything before sending it out :(

Best tacos by far in San Diego

Good food. It's a must try. Lots of choices. However, the menu is not first timer friendly. If you are hungry, you might spend more than what is within your budget. Great for small parties of maybe 8. Parking might be hard to come by depending on the day and time.
