The best paella in Astoria.
The place is good. The paellas have a very authentic taste (I'm not a Spaniard, though). The patatas bravas are not as hot as I expected so that was a bit of a downer. The atmosphere is not bad but not what I expected from a Spanish restaurant. The music was what you can hear on any radio station. Besides, they were showing a soccer match, which is great for men who like it, just not for me.
Hidden gem off of Broadway and Steinway Street. Food is always prepared with love and everything on the menu is a must have! I recommend the sangria with any paella option. Check the site for shows and dances. I’m sure they will have a special for New Year’s Eve!
It was my first time and it won't be the last one. Authentic homemade Spanish cuisine and a very friendly staff.
We drove an hour to get to this place because in the website says the close at 10pm, we got there at 8:35 and they didn't take us because the kitchen was about to close and we could only order appetizers, the waitress didn't even ask the kitchen if we could order and that made us feel very unwelcome
A los españoles este sitio les va a gustar hasta posiblemente más que "La Nacional".
