Disappointed in the pizza.
The pizza wasn’t bad. But I had a large pie half pepperoni delivered to my house. My house is less than a half a mile from Cinelli. They charge me 350 delivery fee plus I had to tip the driver three dollars. So that’s 650 just to get the pizza delivered. The pizza was $24. With delivery and tip? It came out to 30 bucks. I decided to look at some of the reviews. Owner states that the 350 delivery charge is to pay for gas and insurance for his oven trucks? The guy who delivered the pizza? Came in a little four-door Nissan. It was not an oven truck. It wasn’t a Cinelli’s vehicle. $30 to have a pizza delivered what amounted to about 10 blocks? Sorry. We won’t be doing that again. UPDATE: thank you for your response back and clarifying what I obviously made a mistake about. I’m just curious to know? Are you hiring? Because if you got 10 deliveries in an hour and the driver gets $3.50 for each delivery? That’s $35.00 an hour! That’s not even counting tips. Your guys must be making $50 - $60 an hour? That sounds like a great deal. Let me know. I’d be interested.
Cinelli's is my favorite pizza spot in NYC. I travel 20 minutes once per week to grab our favorite cheese pizza for me and my children. I even introduced my boss to there years ago after visiting others we didn't enjoy, and now he too won't eat any other pizza lol. Joey and the crew are so friendly, kind and courteous. My whole family is hooked on them, even the ones who visit me from other countries around the world. Best pizza and Italian food in New York. Period Parking: Free Parking available on restaurant grounds. Kid-friendliness: What can I say, the owners know my kids by name. That's friendly to me lol. Wheelchair accessibility: There's a ramp where persons in wheelchair can access facilities and there's accessible bathroom on the main floor for such, extra bathrooms available downstairs for all others.
Always a treat, great food and service. Another great event 1/26/24
I went there with a Groupon and ask for Chicken Marsala. What they gave me was chicken breast just plain and they threw some sauce on top. I know that the chicken should be lightly coated with flour and the sauce was water down. I also had a few more dollars to make the amount of the Groupon and I had to bring that to their attention. I got some garlic knots to complete my order. Very disappointing and I will not go back.
Delicious food & plenty. Sparse diners, so the service was solid & intimate. Value exceptional with a Groupon. Would definitely return.
It is so good my dad works there
Best buffalo slice in town hands down
Food was so good. Ordered the shrimp scampi, grandma pizza, and house salad. The place is nice and spacious. They have on site parking which is very convenient. Definitely recommended.
