tbh i feel queerbaited by the giant queer flag on their window. when i think of queer friendly restaurants, i think of a variety of options for any dietary needs. this place has zero plant-based options aside from maybe one salad (but not even sure if the dressing would be dairy free). the staff were all super kind and tried to make accommodations for us but it was difficult for them because they use dairy in pretty much all their dishes, and don’t have alternatives. the menu doesn’t make note of any potential allergens patrons should be aware of either. we got the fried mushroom & corn waffle, the waffle was soggy but the pieces of corn in the waffle added some nice texture and flavor. we also got the veggie burger of the day, and it was decent, nothing noteworthy. our bill was $50, not worth it imo, especially for a diner.

My Wife and I were driving through Eagle Rock and came upon Cindy's. Both my Wife and I had Excellent food! The service was good and overall it was great!

Cute and cozy diner that’s been there since 1948. Several movies and tv shows have been filmed there. The service is great and the food delicious had the chicken fried steak dinner. So worth the drive and experience to visit.

Stop here on our way out of LA heading to Arizona on a whim. Great breakfast with awesome flavors. Next time we are in the area this will be a must stop!

Cindy's Restaurant is a landmark and staple in the Eagle Rock community!! They have some wonderful menu items like sweet potatoe biscuits, green goddess omelet, house breakfast potatoes, and other unique dishes in addition to your traditional diner ambience!! I highly recommend Cindy's and I'm so glad they remained in tact after the pandemic!!

Great vibe and character. Amazing food and friendly service. The Noah’s Ark is a super tasty all-american breakfast and the Cindy’s Mcbreakfast sandwich is out of this world!

This spot was recommended to me. Decided to try it out. There's a waiting list that was pretty short. Parking is a bit tuff. The staff is great except for 1 guy who avoided us the whole time but was quick to take are payment tray away, which seemed weird. Although our server was great from taking our order to checking up on us. My wife and I were amazed by the flavors and quality of the food. Will definitely be returning.
