Food- Flavourful and authentic Mexican. Chips are amazing. Salsa was spot on. Horchata is how it should be. Really great price $. Service- Very attentive staff that does not waste time. Quickly got my order with no hassle. Answered every question I had perfectly. Atmosphere- CLEAN. Looks and feels upscale. Chairs are comfortable. They have a bar. Overall a fantastic choice for Mexican food at a very reasonable price point.
Best Mexican food in Elk Grove and great value for margaritas. Also the Moscow mule I got was probably the best one I've ever had from a restaurant, they serve it in a ceramic cup so you don't get the metallic flavor you would expect from a copper cup. Staff is always super friendly and attentive too, highly recommended.
So I'm in town for the week and am trying the different local restaurants around my hotel. After looking up the reviews which were all over the place I was very undecided about whether or not I should eat here. Glad I did. I couldn't find anything wrong like all of the reviews had spoken of. I started off with the chips and salsa and it was just fine. Chips were freshly made and the salsa was just like any other place. It was good. Then I had the ceviche appetizer and it was fantastic. I didn't even need to add any Tapatio like I normally would. The flavors went together magnificently. Big word but that's how it felt. And then the fajitas. Every time I try a new Mexican style restaurant I try their fajitas. I almost judge these places based on how they put together their fajitas. This place did not fail. They came out sizzling like they should and it was not overwhelmed with all of the onions and bell peppers like I've had in the past at other places. The server came by several times to ask if I was doing okay. Not sure what happened to all of those other people and their bad reviews but I had none of that here. I will return.
Food ingredients were good but lacking flavor
