Too much garlic present in dishes to be authentic Italian. Fried Calamari has garlic breadcrumbs seasoning. Chewy rubbery texture. Basic tomato sauce used in their dishes also has garlic in it. Lamb chops are thin. Seasoned with too much dried rosemary which overpowers flavor of lamb. Sauteed spinach that comes with lamb has garlic. Unfortunately, this restaurant has adapted Italian cuisine to American palate. They make their own fresh mozzarellas which are quite good. Large selection of delicious homemade desserts. Noise level is extremely high. At peak dinner times, difficult to have a conversation without yelling. Though there is plenty of parking around the restaurant, as it is in Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, parking is pay parking 24/7 in the entire town.
Charming spot with delicious, authentic food. We loved the grilled artichokes appetizer, spinach ravioli, and veal saltimbucca. Service was attentive and friendly
Authentic Italian cuisine from a Roman trained Chef and his wife and family - we've been many times now and love it just as much. A hidden gem. On weekends, reservations are a good idea.
Little and welcoming family run restaurant. Just decent food and good service.
Real Italian cuisine in a cozy Italian cafe setting. Valentina is very attentive. I'll be going there each time I visit Fort Lauderdale.
Superb cooking wonderful owners. Its Roman, not New York Italian. Fortunately. Call for a table, it can be tough without a reservation.
Traditional Italian fare, I think it's run by an Italian family? Service a little slow, but it was just two running between taking orders, food running, and clearing tables on a Friday night. Pasta is absolutely amazing, the only thing I'd complain about there is the size of the portions leave a little more to be desired.
