Eugene was very accommodating to last minute changes to my large catering order during a busy lunch service. I appreciate the care that was taken to ensure the order was packed in a way that I could easily divide it between two separate locations. The food was delicious as always. Thanks again!

Only tried their risoles and the pastéis de nata (custard tart), but after trying the pastéis from other places at the market, these guys definitely have the best ones!

I’ve had their custard tarts maybe too many times now. I can attest they are always warm and crunchy. The dough is so flaky and it’s always a treat to go and say hello to such nice people.

Disappointed... The food was not executed correctly. Rice was over cooked and tasteless like they boiled it (usually it’s flavourful). Fries were limp and soggy. What happened? On top of that the owner snapped at me! I ordered half of my order because he turned away and continued giving orders from wherever to his staff and I waited before I could interrupt and felt rushed when I ordered so I forgot to add “combo” to my second order. There was only one person after me when I ordered the first part of my order and by the time I ordered the second half there was a line-up behind me. He needs to lighten up whether it’s busy or not and not snap at customers! Previous visit, the women kept staring and smirking at me for some strange reason, particularly the woman with black hair who usually works at end far end and ignores customers because she’s on her phone, etc. I smiled back, and they kept doing it, which is very inappropriate, but I let it slide. Manners required! This is the last time I plan on going for a long while at least since I don’t appreciate being snapped at, stared at, wasting my hard earned money on food that’s off.

The Bifana was so good, the homemade sauce was amazing!

Only got a tart, custard was good but the pasty wasn’t the best- it was very thin and I had to tear it with my teeth, strange. Overall okay had better elsewhere.

Great testing chicken! Great price too with generous portions, it’s worth the detour when visiting Toronto.

I’ve had the wonderful privilege to travel to Portugal and had the best food of my life there. Imagine my delight stumbling upon this walk up/counter service authentic Portuguese food option. I was visiting Toronto for four days and three of them included meals from here. I’m not ashamed….I’m satisfied, feel great and planning my next trip to Lisbon now. GO TO THIS PLACE!! Chicken bbq and Portuguese egg tarts hit the spot every time.

Can't go wrong with amazing chicken. Love their soup, ate it all winter. Their fries are delish as well. Really nice owner and staff and family.
