We went to Salado for Oktoberfest and ended up spending most of our night here. The food and drinks were incredible, the bartenders were awesome, and the music was amazing! Would definitely recommend 100%!!!
Always have an awesome experience here. Great food at a great price with a whole lotta beer to choose from their rotating taps next door from Texas breweries
When it comes to the atmosphere I'm used to being in a restaurant with a bunch of people around me so I couldn't really get a vibe. The food was okay. The Buffalo Chicken Sandwich had a kick of heat but it wasn't spicy. Their signature sauce really did compliment the sandwich though. Kind of like how the Chick-fil-A sauce compliments any Chick-fil-A sandwich. They just went together. What really impressed me was the fact that they did not use regular iceberg lettuce. I know for sure my sandwich came with the spring mix salad in replacement of lettuce which made the sandwich way better in my eyes. And their sweet potato fries were actually really good. I haven't eaten french fries in months so the fact that I took a chance and it wasn't awful. Made me happy. My friend had a turkey bacon sandwich which she really liked. And my daughter had the grilled cheese meal but I could not get a photo before she started eating. What really impressed me was their customer service. The cashier was so sweet and even took her time with us. Make sure we all got what we wanted including being patient with my daughter when she was ordering her own food for the second time in her life. Dietary restrictions: The only thing I can say for my experience was if you don't eat regular white bread they do have rye bread and a couple of other choices. Also. I love that their sandwiches come with spring mix salad instead of regular iceberg lettuce. Parking: There is no parking lot. They have parallel parking within a space for about four, maybe five cars. But after that you're going to just have to park wherever you can find a spot near the restaurant.
Ordered from Chupa many times. It’s getting worse, not better. A picture speaks a thousand words. This is a chef salad? This looks just lazy and unappealing. The prices do not match the effort put into some of the dishes prepared. And every time I ask for a condiment or utensils the reply is basically, you can get it yourself on the way out. Yet, the underlying vibe is expected tipping. Several times I go to order again and just pick somewhere else these days. Should have this time. Looks like I could have made a better salad.
Awkward setup for ordering food. Extensive offering of draft beers. Nice location near the interstate, but isolated very well
