My friends and I visit this location for the one-of-a-kind animatronic stage; the drive is far from short. We have visited on multiple occasions and have experienced welcoming attitudes from employees, with some even sparking up conversations with us regarding the store's history. It is always great seeing those same employees again and reconnecting. We have visited multiple Chuck E Cheese locations from different areas, including out-of-state; therefore we have become quite familiar with the policies in place. Unfortunately, our last visit cannot be close to the same welcoming experience as prior ones have been. We were not greeted as we walked in, we were berated by an employee with policies that we have never encountered before. In fact, other locations' managers have told us opposite of what was suddenly enforced this time around, which is what inclined me to question the legitimacy. There is also nothing online that clearly states what was being said. This worker persisted to tell us these seemingly new rules, never answering my question about them until the end of the confrontation. What is the point of saving an obvious answer until the end of the argument? It could've saved the whole argument from even happening. What was this ordeal over? First, that we did not have kids, second whether or not we were minors ourselves. I understand if it was unclear at first sight how old we were. However, the seemingly obvious height difference between us and the worker, as well as the maturity in our voices would say otherwise. We were finally let in at the point of disgust between both parties. I am typically not a person to give people a hard time; in fact, I am quite conversational and enjoy meeting new people, hence how I have met some great employees at CEC locations in the past. My friends and I were looking to have an enjoyable time, while visiting this unique location. That being said, had the worker at the entrance been welcoming and respectful to us, as it should be regardless if guests entering are parents or not, then this interaction would've been one of friendliness and zero confrontation.
