Chubby yaki

This place deserves a million stars. The lady that picked up the phone was soooooo nice. I let her know that I’ve never eaten there & I would like to know if this place is good or not. She said yes of course so I asked “is the food so good it will put me sleep?”. she said “hold on let me ask the chef” “the chef said “yes the food will be so good you will fall asleep.” I’m sold at this point lol. I get there to pick up the food the little lady was so welcoming and Jesus Christ they not playing around over there. The food was so good! & guess what happen after i ate

This place has some of the best food I have ever tried! Got a plate with chicken and filet mignon and it was so juicy and tender! The veggies were very good! the rice was not salty just right and perfect in my opinion, and the green sauce that they have was hands down one of the best sauces I have ever tried no lie! Can’t recommend this place enough! Only thing that sucked was the parking since the plaza gets packed on the weekends but it was definitely worth it! 10/10

Please open more consistently ! I need my chubby egg roll .. I’ve ordered from here a handful of times and the food is always hot and fresh. The chubby egg roll is huge! Every time I’ve tried to recently order online or walk in they are closed and I see now on google it shows temporarily closed. Hope they open back up soon! - Edit The once Chubby Rice is now called Chubby Yaki and the menu is different.. Food is more pricey but now includes steaks and more expensive types of foods.. I walked in and staff was nice and all but the price was a bit much for my usual work lunch so I did not end up ordering or trying the food. I did ask about the “famous” chubby eggroll that’s like the size of a burrito but she said they only have regular egg rolls now Wish them luck but will miss the old spot..

Recommend for sure. Food was tasty and the ginger sauce and garlic butter only added to the already delicious meal. Veggies cooked and seasoned well.

Rice was so salty it wasn’t edible

Place is nothing like what it used to be. Completely different menu, taste, and quality is sub par. Chubby Yaki and Chubby Rice are two completely different restaurants.

My son and I ate here for the first time last week. I must say it was great I’ll be going back today . Can’t stop thinking about this place

Soooooooo friggin delicious! I'm so glad the first time we tried it wasn't a fluke. Nope, went back the very next day, different cook and absolutely delicious.

Food was fantastic. As good as a fancy sit-down Japanese steakhouse.
