The food is killer, but the service and atmosphere is chaotic. Grabbing you own seat seems efficient but it's incredibly challenging for the staff to know who is next to be served. And they're understaffed, which is tough to resolve because the size of the place. But I don't see it reasonable to wait 40 minutes from the time I sit down to the time I get my food. The waitresses seemed super stressed. Love the food, but those other reasons may be enough to keep me coming as often as I'd like
Arrived @530 on a Monday evening. Said they were closed but clearly saw people inside. Called and spoke to Ricky who said she was a co owner that they were closing early.
My first time to Chris' Famous Hotdogs, and it was an experience! This in no gourmet, hipster, tofu dog with Dejohn mustard! The staff yell and run, the dogs are better burnt, and it is cramped, but it is WONDERFUL! YOU HAVE GOT TO TRY IT! Delicious-ness and raw Montgomery Alabama atmosphere! Kid-friendliness: I sat next to a family that was celebrating their Great Grandparents first date at Chris' they were 80 years young! It is great for kids & families!
We were so excited to visit since it was one of Hank Williams favorite places. He even wrote a song at the counter. The employees were very friendly and the service was good. However the restaurant it's self was dirty and many things needed a lot of TLC. And we payed quite a lot for a sad and very small hotdogs. I'm sure at one time this was an amazing experience and with it's history it should shine. It could be a jewel for the city if it someone could help clean it up a bit.
quaint and delicious. a little run down but a nice historical feel to it and vintage items all around
몽고메리의 역사깊은 핫도그 매장 오랜 역사만큼 손님들도 많고 핫도그도 맛있습니다.
This restaurant is a historic landmark. It was founded in 1917 and has operated for over a century. Great food and vintage atmosphere. One feels like they've traveled back in time when you enter the door.
