This place is INCREDIBLE. When I get an opportunity to try a new place, I look for the perfect bite throughout my meal. The kind of bite that makes you stop, close your eyes, and take it all in . I enjoy finding the perfect flavors, mouth feel, and aroma. EVERY bite was a perfect bite. From the apps to the main dishes and even the sides. My wife and I had goose bumps. Incredible food, the staff was very friendly and inviting and the atmosphere is excellent. I CANNOT wait to go back and try more of the menu. If this is an option for your dinner, choose Chortke.

This place is amazing across the board. The ambiance is warm and authentic. The owner is an absolute joy -he stopped by our table, so gracious and humble. The food is absolutely divine. We enjoyed the Shrimp Kofta and Gerogian Cheese Bread for appetizers. My wife had the lamb lollipops (succulent and cooked perfectly) and I had the Scallops entree (fresh with a beautiful sear). The staff here is super friendly, professional, and you feel like you are at someone’s home and never feel rushed. The food came out quick and piping hot. This is an excellent place to dine if you’re looking for a great night out. Wish I could give this place 10 stars.

Food and service are outstanding!! I love the new look, especially the lamps. Everything on the menu is incredible. It was my first visit since they renovated the interior and changed the menu from casual to upscale. I'll be back again really soon!

The new Chortke as a fine dining experience = WOW!!!! Just amazing what they did with the interior decor and the food! The most BEAUTIFUL decor of any restaurant I've been to. Additionally, the food was simply outstanding. Loved every single item! Scallops were the best I've had in my life (and I don't say that lightly). Get them! And the lamb shank, kebab, beet salad were my favorites. Dessert is a must-have: Panne Cotta was incredible as was the mango sorbet. So unique and so delicious! Everyone needs to check this place out. It’s a rarity

I think Chortke is now the finest dining experience in ROC and we have eaten at all the best restaurants in town, which we are fortunate to have. But what sets Chortke apart is the skillful use of herbs, spices and garnishes, coupled with the freshest ingredients and creative recipes. We lived in Iran (many years ago in the pre-regime days) and loved Persian cooking - distinct, in our opinion, from popular and more common "Mediterranean-style" (which we also love) cooking. Chortke is even better because it combines traditional Persian dishes with contemporary creativity. The dishes, together with attentive and friendly service, and a pleasant setting, make this a dining experience not to be missed. Don't wait to give it a try - you will be amazed!
