Chong Qing Xiao Mian

I've been on a spicy beef noodle soup kick, so I had to visit Chong Qing Xiao Mian. Overall the soup was tasty, but I didn't love the beef ribs that need to be removed and eaten on the side. Typically it's nice to have beef that I can eat with chopsticks along with the noodles. But the spicy broth and noodles were delicious, the service was great, and the prices were fair. I will probably return, but will opt for the Dan Dan Noodles instead.

Great spicy beef noodle soup. There was so much beef - easily enough for two people! Spicy broth was amazing.

The Chongqing noodle is great! Fragrant but not too spicy. The chicken feet with pickles pepper is a good snack too! We went right when they were opening, service is warm and friendly!

Don't get the wine chicken. Spicy shilli chicken is pretty good. The soups are huge portions, enough for two.

I love the Chongqing Noodle Soup (重庆面）, incredibly flavorful, chewy fresh noodles, and a good burn that keeps you wanting another bite. Also picked up the Lamb Skewers which were a good compliment to the soup. The lamb is a little on the chewy side, but it really reminded me of grabbing skewers at a Uyghur street stall.
