They have some of the finest chocolates. Butlers honeycomb was the best of the bunch. Tour was good also.
We did the chocolate tour with the fondue addition - we highly enjoyed the tour. Dave (the tour guide) was so funny and informative. The tour was short and sweet - not too long. The tastings at the end were plentiful and tasty. The fondue was just meh in my opinion. It came with strawberries, marshmallows, pretzels, and bananas. I would skip that next time. Overall, great experience - delicious chocolate.
Dave, our tour guide, was knowledgeable and entertaining. He certainly knows his cacao facts. The 8 kinds of chocolate at the end of the tour points out how different chocolates can be. Our wine pairing with chocolates was enlightening. Kid-friendliness: Young boys on our tour were inquisitive and polite.
This review is about the coffee and desserts. I really want to love this place as it is in within walking distance. However, their espresso is just average as it is made from a machine and not hand crafted (I.e. it’s just a step above Starbucks). It’s too bad, as their desserts are devine. Haven’t been on the tour, but I hear it’s nice. Go for the tour and chocolates, but don’t expect much from the coffee.
Great tour and history of chocolate, our guide Dave had a great sense of humor throughout the exhibit. Samples were a nice selection of the brands, but only one of their in house chocolates.
What a nice museum tour, both kids and adults loved it. Dave was an amazing guide. Truffles are amazing. Worth the trip
Great idea for a date! Tour for two with chocolate fondue made it an amazing experience.
