I give 3 stars because of the customer service. I went this evening before a pottery class. The woman servicing me was short with me and gave off unwelcoming energy, as if she wanted to hurry me away. I was the only customer in the establishment. I asked a question and she was rather condescending in her response. I enjoyed the treats though. That’s the saving grace of this place. Will not stop next time when I return to finish my pottery.

I'm interested in sending some sweets to my family in Chicago. Can you please confirm which items are halal/ halal certified?

I've been here 3 or 4 times. A little overpriced but the sweets are so good. The last time I went though, there was no delicious pumpkin loaf in the case. They offered me a fresh slice from a just baked loaf that was in the back. It wasn't warm and it wasn't fresh. You can tell the difference! I was very disappointed. The flourless chocolate cake and spicy cocoa are also very good.
