The workers were super nice and gave good portion sizes to me. Everything was available and the service was fast.
This is my go-to lunch spot, as it’s conveniently located near my workplace. I’ve never had issues with the food’s quality, but I’ve consistently found the serving sizes, particularly the protein, to be lacking. It’s become apparent that they often skimp on the protein portions. There have been moments when I was taken aback by the scant amount of meat provided, leading me to opt for a double serving. However, even with the additional order, the increase feels more symbolic, akin to an extra pinch of salt rather than a substantial doubling of the meat. The protein servings hardly fill the spoon they use. Yet, this will likely continue unless a new, convenient alternative opens nearby. As I write this review while eating the same dish from Chipotle, my frustration with their stingy protein servings grows. Despite this, I’ve always found the food quality satisfactory. The service varies, with some staff members being pleasant and others less so, but that seems to be a common theme in many places nowadays. Peace.
I used to like this chipotle but their service has declined so rapidly that I've decided never to come here again. The problems began once management started placing hiring pamphlets in spanish around the store. Clearly they are hiring employees that only speak spanish and now none of the employees working with customers speak English. These employees frequently misunderstand orders and make mistakes. For example, they know key words like "brown rice," but they don't know what "A little bit of brown rice" means. Not only this but several of them have nasty attitudes. Instead of saying "Hi, what can I get for you?" they stare at you blankly and wait for you to say something... Because they don't speak English. How can a business expect spanish speakers to serve English speaking customers? My only guess is that the boss wants maximum profit with minimuim effort, and so he hires the cheapest slave labor he can find. Hopefully the owner does the honorable thing and closes down. Parking: Nearly impossible to find parking during busy hours. Expect plenty of terrible drivers.
My experience with the food portions at this Chipotle has been frustratingly inconsistent. While occasionally fortunate to receive a proper-sized meal, there have been instances where the portion provided is insufficient even for an adult. The lack of consistency in serving sizes has been a disappointment, making it challenging to rely on a satisfying dining experience.
If I could give a zero star review I would. I live in Santa Clara square and crave chipotle every now and then so I wonder over. Which’s reminds me every time of why I never eat chipotle anymore which used to be my favorite restaurant. Staffs terrible, foods quality is terrible, I’ve never actually seen them cook any new food bc the location is so poorly managed, and they are always out of everything. This location should be out of business.
