When going in to acquire food for my celiac wife, the first employee told me “let me check if we have fresh everything in the back” to be allergy safe. A minute or so later, they come back and say “we have all the ingredients fresh and ready but no clean utensils to safely serve the food. And everyone is busy so can’t clean anything” I asked to speak to a manager to clarify, and they told me “we do have clean utensils but we do not have separate fresh hot items” Not the best food safety sign when employees are lying that they’ve checked or verified things before serving or not serving your food. Very dismissive attitude by the staff and manager, which is a disappointment for an otherwise normally very allergy friendly chain.

In my quest to get away from the Bronx because English has become the second language there, i stop into 1288 1st ave. Big mistake. Not only are ALL the employees hispanic but I had to endure espanol the entire time . This place needs diversity. If you can't speak English how are you employed? Respect the culture is too much to ask these days

This location is particularly bad with portion sizes. They gave me less than half a scoop and when I asked if I could have a regular sized scoop they said more would be extra. I don’t usually bring up portion sizes but this situation was ridiculous. I ended up leaving because there was no way I was going to pay so much for so little food.

ordered brown rice and got white rice ,ordered chips and salsa (salsa was missing),no fruit came with the kids meal ….everything with the meal was incorrect and cold

I was here on Friday 1/20/24 at around 5:45 - 6 pm restaurant was pretty empty only with a few people I ordered a steak bowl and it was good the cashier and the lady making the food was nice Only deducting one star because the dining room was dirty and the soda machine been out of order for a while

Horrible service and food is cold. Try another location.
