We love chipotle but this may be our least favorite location and regretfully it’s the closest to our house. It feels like every time there is something that disappoints us. We stopped ordering ahead for pickup which used to be one of our favorite features of chipotle restaurants as we kept having huge disappointments when we got home such as ordering a vegetarian burrito with no peppers and onions, just a few small pieces of lettuce left, or when we come through the line they give us half scoops of the items. We used to get partially refunded by the robo customer service but then they switched to giving us free drinks which we don’t even want so we just gave up and come expecting to be disappointed. It’s not so bad that we don’t still dine there from time to htime since it’s still tasty, quick, healthy, fits our differing dietary restrictions and is close to our home but it is the only chipotle location that has disappointed us more times than the opposite.
Food was tasty, could have been hotter. The portions were so small. I received about 10 black beans. Very skimpy. Did not fill up the bowl. Still hungry afterwards and had to go somewhere else to eat. Where are the Managers? Disappointed!
When Chipotle first opened at the old Wendy’s location, the service wasn’t great. It seems better now and the food is very good if it’s prepared right. Normally I order through Door Dash and haven’t had any issues lately. I can’t speak for the in restaurant service but one time I was there to pick up an order, the associates were not very friendly or helpful. They even forgot my chips and I had to go back and wait until someone noticed me to ask for the rest of my order. Compared to Moe’s, Chipotle has fresher food ingredients but the taste difference between burritos is hardly noticeable. Moes and Chipotles queso is significantly different and really comes down to preference. Moe’s queso has the consistency of Velveeta, whereas chipotle’s has more of the consistency of homemade cheese sauce. Moe’s has the advantage of reputation in the summit with better, more consistent service. Moe’s is also cheaper and includes free chips with burritos. Vegetarian options: Sofritas (tofu) available as meat substitute Dietary restrictions: Vegan meat options available
I was very excited to try the Carne Asada bowl, but I was VERY DISAPPOINTED. I ordered take out and got to the store 3Mins after my pick up time; EVERYTHING was COLD (the meat and rice should not be cold) like it was sitting in the fridge. Only thing enjoyable was the chips and guacamole. I’ll be sticking to Moe’s.
There has not been 1 time when I go here for food and they actually have every item on the menu, most commonly carnitas, corn salsa, or fajitas. If I’m paying $15 for a burrito I expect to be able to get every topping available
Portion size was smaller then I liked it but it was good, you just have to know how to finesse the workers to get you and extra food. The amount they gave me was probably spec but I come from getting chipotle in nyc and they don't care about portion control. Food was delicious.
We came in before closing. There were 5 employees standing on the line. One was completing an order while the rest just stood there. They then had the nerve to make a comment about how close it was to closing. I worked in the food industry for 20 years, while people coming in close to closing isn’t convenient, you’re still own and serving people. It was rude and completely unprofessional.
