This was dad's favorite Christmas Eve haunt before he passed. We went last night and found out they are closing for good this year. You will be missed

We have gone here since it first opened. Always good food, and cheerful waitresses. Good to see the owners, Win and Winnie, there to greet you. Always welcoming. We dod takeout during Covid, now back to eating in. Our grand daughters would be with us when little and now we go with them and our great grandchildren. We have so many good memories coming to Chinese Happiness.

15 years ago until now nothing has really changed. Prices have crept up by the pennies, but food quality, feel, taste, service, and experience remain exactly the same, fantastic. I will miss Chinese Happiness but wish the owners the best in retirement. Thanks for all the memories and goodbye.

I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed this place! My husband and I haven’t really found a spot in Gresham we like Chinese food wise but this may be it! We visited at 9pm on a Friday and it was fairly busy. It’s in a rough area and it’s not the most extravagant restaurant. It’s old and dingy. However the booths were freshly wiped and the silverware was clean. Tables are cleared quickly. The service was lovely and fast. Like, lightning fast. You get refills or items before even needing to ask. Multiple people were waiting for to go orders and they were offered tea while waiting! So nice. Food was very good. This is no frills, classic Chinese food. Orange chicken cooked well, crispy outside and soft inside. Beef broccoli incredibly flavorful. Fried rice classic and fresh. My husband got the sweet and sour chicken and crab puffs and loved both. Pricing is good for the sizes of items. $35 for us to be more than stuffed when leaving and also getting sodas. Final note- the bathroom is dark and scary. Lol.

I dont pretend to damage the business whit this post but cuple things they need to work on. First of all give it a clean up really doesnt feel clean at all in there. Then the portions are crazy grong ordered a cuple things and the rice that came whit it was supper small and the sauce for the fried shrimp a hole bucket food is not that bad not the worst but not the best ive tried but really work ok your portions the rice portions are not acurate at all specially if ur paying 100 dlls or more for food hope to see this go better

We have been loyal customers for over 20 years. Had take out tonight that was so disgusting. BBQ pork was all fatty and slimy. Hot & sour soup had no meat, no flavor, spring rolls were pretty much dough, and the pot stickers were worse than you can buy frozen at the grocery store! What a waste of $35! I did call and complain, but they refused yo give me a discount or return my money. I won't go there again. Gross! The fried shrimp were good enough to eat.

Love their tea and the almond fried chicken With rice is the best!
